Question about Cheat Codes

I just started playing Sims 3 again for the first time in years and I'm trying to relearn everything. One thing that's bothering me is that I swear I used to have a file, like an .ini file or something that was set to have certain cheat codes automatically turned on every time I start the game, but I can't find it. Am I crazy or is there really something like this?

    You can do it with the NRaas Overwatch mod.

    I use it so testingcheatsenabled and hideheadlineeffects are always on when I load the game.

    I have never heard of a cheats .ini file for The Sims 3.

    On the other hand, The Sims 2 had it and I used for creating aliases and always starting with aging off.

    I figured out that I can do it with Overwatch. I swear I remember manually editing an .ini file, but as long as Overwatch can do it I'm good.
