@velvetunderground If you have trouble getting your graphics card recognized, feel free to ask for help. More important though is manually limiting your in-game framerates. An Nvidia 2060 is fast enough to generate fps in the hundreds at least, and that's not good for the long-term health of the card. This is a good guide to using the built-in Nvidia Control Panel; screenshots are under the first spoiler.

Since you play through Origin, be sure to use TS3.exe (not TS3W) to create the profile for Sims 3. If it doesn't work, there are other options too, but this is the easiest approach.
