my sims just sent their 2 kids to 2 different boarding schools. I can call them but not visit them.when does my sims gets to visit them?is boarding school like vacation for the parents but for the kids?how long do they stay in boarding school for?intill they become teens and move back home?one of the sims is already a teen, will she move back home when she's an adult?thanks for the info, appreciate it! :)

1. You don't. You can only talk to them on the phone, no visiting.2. Boarding school is like school for the kids, they learn new traits and do well.3. If you put them in as a child they stay until they become a teen. After teen you can re-inroll them again or have them stay home and go to public school. They will come back as a young adult after they graduate.

When a teen ages up to young adult, they automatically come home. In both cases they get a new trait that you don't get to choose (usually one related to the school they're attending). So I guess when the teen finishes boarding school and becomes a young adult they've "graduated". Oh, and sometimes you'll have the opportunity to bring them home early; there'll be a dialog box that says they're unhappy at school and asks if you'd like to bring them home (one of my Sims was at School of Peace and Love and the dialog said that she was uncomfortable sharing her feelings); in that instance the child/teen won't age up before they come home so won't get the new trait. You can either go ahead and let them go to public school or send them to a different boarding school, but you don't get a refund on what you already paid for boarding school.

@emansmommy - We are not permitted to discuss that topic nor mention that mod on this forum for essentially the same reason. But if you were to bring the question to us at NRaas, where you got the mod from, we could have that discussion there. :)
