Sometimes. When I get attached, I find myself not able to let them die and either stop playing or go to an older file. I think it makes sense you are attached. I find it amazing that you've not only played with the same family for so long, but also in the same area. I sadly get a bit bored of the same area. I need to do what you do and get more attached. Anyway, I think it's cool that you're attached to the same family. Maybe if you really want to go to a new one, make one similar or just do a new safe? I think the former though may help. Like make them different enough, but similar so that you like playing as them.
