Are you looking to repopulate with supernaturals or human sims?
If supernaturals, I have a couple households you might be interested in:
Supernormal Roomies - Details - Download
Supercreative Collective - Details - Download
They should all have careers and a handful of skillpoints, so good for townies.

Although to be fair, most of the sims in my studio are supernaturals of one flavor or another.
I recently started a game in Moonlight Falls. I didn't repopulate from scratch, but I did add a few of my own households, including the ones I linked you. I look forward to seeing what else turns up here and might steal a few for my own game. :) Good luck with your game and also your interview and school!
