I've been playing the same game on and off for over a year now and my SSD died and forgot to back up. I was on my 4th generation (I play on super epic) I'm so upset My Sims :( Why do I always forget...

So sorry for your loss :(. If you don't already have one, you may want to invest in a large capacity thumb drive or an external HDD and dedicate it solely as a back-up drive. You could back up your Sims, Store Purchases, Builds, Mods and CC (as well as saved games) to avoid such a loss again.
