RIP :(
I've been playing the same game on and off for over a year now and my SSD died and forgot to back up. I was on my 4th generation (I play on super epic) I'm so upset My Sims :( Why do I always forget...

Haha @igazor I was just getting annoying because my bills seemed way expensive, way more than i could afford i was getting billed like $1400+ while earning only $167 i was like plum?
then i realized that i had my working/middle/upper class castes as 'set for active household'...... so my active household was getting the property tax and income tax of all 3 >.<
Actually no, that shouldn't happen with SP Money. If a sim is (even mistakenly) in three different castes that have conflicting settings for the same option like Property Tax, then the caste with the highest priority wins out for that setting. If all three castes have the same priority, then one random one is used for that setting. So it is possible they are being taxed as upper class when they really aren't wealthy enough to afford that rate, but not at all three or however many you have tax levels all at once.
Income Tax is deducted at the time a sim is paid, not through the billing system, but the same principle should apply.
Okay weird, I dunno why my bills are so insanely high then! How does SP decide which caste has higher priority?
It's part of the caste definitions. By default, they are all 0.
On City Hall/computer, NRaas > SP > Caste Options > (name of caste) > Caste: Priority
But since one wouldn't expect a sim or a household to be in more than one economic class at a time, that wouldn't typically be an important part of these caste definitions. How high is your upper class Property Tax rate?
