The Rotational Play setup is for more intermediate users of the mod for sure.
I don't want to hijack this thread, but a caste is a group of sims. Automatic Castes have something or a set of things in common (age, gender, occult state, career, etc.) and sims are put into those castes by the mod automatically. So if you want vampires (or female vampires, or female Capricorn vampires in the Political Career who have the Childish trait) to age/not age, then an automatic caste could be used.
Manual Castes are managed by placing sims into them "manually," they don't need to have anything else in common to qualify. That's the kind of caste that Rotational Play uses -- these are "my" sims and the restrictions associated with them when they are not actively being played, everyone else in town can progress as freely as they wish all around them.
