Thanks HotBlackSand for your suggestions & help. Couldn't figure out how to extend the platform so just deleted the thing & placed a new one. Hadn't even thought of it being a platform as the sledgehammer only removed a single tile of the platform. Thanks for your help also puzzlezaddict! You both were great 😀. Anyway, here's how the roof turned out:
