"From CD Keys to Digital Days: My Journey with The Sims 3"
As a long-time fan and supporter of The Sims franchise,I truly appreciate the creativity, freedom, and uniqueness that these games offer. The Sims 3,in particular, holds a special place in my heart.Over the years,I've spent countless hours enjoying its rich gameplay and detailed customization options. With the shift to digital platforms and newer updates like version 1.69,it's clear that EA has worked to make The Sims 3 more compatible with modern systems. This version helps eliminate many of the old issues, such as launcher problems, login errors,or CD key verifications, which often troubled users of the physical versions. However, many dedicated fans, including myself, still own and cherish the original CD versions. It's unfortunate that these older copies can sometimes face limitations or connection errors, even when we have legally purchased and supported the game from the beginning.I believe that continued support for CD versions,or a more flexible transition to digital, would be a great way to honor the loyal player base. While The Sims 4 offers new features, its aesthetic and emotional depth—especially with mods or paid content—feels different from the charm and freedom of The Sims 3.I fully support original games and continue to stay loyal, but I deeply miss playing The Sims 3 freely, without technical or internet-related issues. This isn't a complaint or criticism, but rather a hopeful message from someone who loves The Sims series and wants to see it remain accessible and enjoyable for everyone—newcomers and longtime players alike. I once wished for a little puppy...but instead, I discovered The Sims 3 Pets. And even after five years,it was one of the most wonderful experiences I’ve ever had.❤️🦋I Need Friends!!!!

Hey gang, I'm back again. LOL 🤣 I have stupid questions. Do anyone have full lists of house lots and community lots with size and with community lots I would need something added to like example: Verona County Fire Dept 30x20 ( fire station). Because I'm writing the lists on my notebook for me to create a world I'm doing. I need mostly from Sims 3 stores. I have couples of houses from Sims 3 stores. Just don't remember name and lot size. I already got all community lots and house lots lists and size lots just I don't have from Sims 3 stores. Thank you for advance. 😀🥰 Here picture as an example:60Views0likes4CommentsThat 90's thread
Hey everyone. 😊 Since this year marks my 40th birthday ( 🤯 ) I've been feeling rather nostalgic...missing my younger days in what I would call the greatest decade ever: the 1990's. 💙💚💛 Some of the best years of my life were in the 90's (apart from meeting the love of my life in 2006) and I wanna keep some of the best of the 1990's (as well as early 2000's - I'll allow it 👍🏻) alive in our Sims 3 games. So that's why I've created this thread. A place where we can share any kind of cc out there that screams 1990's (early 2000's)! 😁 Now some of you might be thinking, "Emorrill, there's already 1990's styles in the Sims 3." True... But NOT ENOUGH! 😜 I know there's plenty of y'all on here that share my love of the 90's, so if you have or happen upon any kind of cc out there that's 1990's (early 2000's) related - hairstyles, clothing, furniture, make-up styles (outlined lips anyone? 😛) - please share it on here. And bookmark this thread! Cause I wanna feel more nostalgia and have a 90's cc collection! ⭐ *I only ask a couple of things when sharing: Please provide a photo of the cc that you found as well as a working download link for it. (It's no fun if we can't download it... 😥) I certainly welcome anyone who can provide links to cc found online that is no longer available on the internets anymore, 💗👏🏻 but the pictures are still out there to taunt us. 😐 #annoying! ^That's still a pound sign to me, btw. 😂^ **Please remember: While some of the cc I share on here has been play-tested in my game, others have not. As is the case with all cc, you download at your own risk. Always back up your current cc, and save folders, before adding in any new cc just in case. 👍🏻 Anyway! 🎵 Let's get ready to rumble! 🎵 Now y'all, my memory ain't what it used to be so there's only so many styles from the 90's that I actually remember. 😵 Let me start the cc sharing off with this one: "The Rachel Cut" Hairstyle from the hit TV show F*R*I*E*N*D*S. 😊 Y'all remember the beautiful Jennifer Aniston sporting the iconic hairstyle, right? Over the years I've found a couple of cc hairstyles that resemble it quite nicely (and now they are lost to the internet), but I think this is the best one still available so far that I've found. And it was created by none other than the incredible Peggy! This hairstyle is available for download in this MEGA collection of PeggyZone hairs: https://mega.nz/folder/0QsmVTIY#rfaSJG-WVIZIDPUMD10R8w/folder/ZN9wUZ7I (You'll have to copy and paste this link into a new tab due to the forum dubbing it an "invalid HTML" 🙄 That drives me nuts!) Here's how it looks in game to those who are curious. 😉 If any of y'all have another (or better) version of The Rachel Cut, please feel free to share. 😊👍🏻 There's some other late 90's hairstyle gems in that MEGA folder like this one: (Which apparently Jennifer Aniston also sported. 👍🏻 I just remember many girls in my high school doing their hair like this. 😊) Edit to add: When testing ^this hair^ in my game it was not showing up in CAS. 🙁 So I found a nice retexture of it which I hope works. 👍🏻 Here's the link: https://anubis360.blogspot.com/2011/12/peggy-hair-826-fixed-and-pookletd-for.html Here's how the retextured hair by anubis looks like in my game, with color variations. ⭐ Anyhoo! Now share all the 90's cc you can find with me (us) y'all! 😁 Let's have a bunch of fun reminiscing with this thread. 🥰 Thanks y'all! ~~~Please remember that I edit posts often to add more cc items I find that fit the theme of that particular post. So don't forget to refer back to the older posts to see what's new and decide if you want more! 😁👍🏻~~~ *FORUM TIP*: Click on the "Oldest" tab below to see all the posts in their proper order if you are not a regular follower.642Views6likes74CommentsRoof help, please
Hi, I'm fairly new to Sims 3 building and have a question. I've made one side of a pre-existing house a little bigger so that the rooms on that side have more room. Also adjusted the second floor to match. However, the problem comes with the roof. Instead of a gabled or hipped roof it has two layers of floor tiles. I managed to copy the floor tile to cover the extra space, but it only did one layer. When I tried placing it for the second layer it just replaced what I'd done. Could someone please let me know how to add a floor tile on top of a floor tile? Thanks so much!SolvedWhat to buy with 990 sim points?
Hey there, I'm getting back into the Sims 3, and I'm very pleased to see the store isn't closed yet. That said, I have no clue how to download all my points again. I also used to have a file with all the store content, to make clean-up generally easier, is there any reason it wouldn't work? It's been a number of years, and several computers since. Thanks! Special thanks to all who've kept on playing The Sims 3. It truly is a great game.202Views2likes12CommentsTutorial: Creating a Playhouse
So in one of my most recent houses I came up with this playhouse and someone suggested that I create a tutorial for it, so for anyone who’s seen it and wanted to know how I did it I shall explain it here. What the end result is, since it's very compact it comes in handy when you have limited area for playgrounds or could looks really nice in a park. Start by creating a 2x1 box leaving four spaces empty and placing a 2 wall line like so: Now in between the walls place a swing set, for the swings it doesn’t matter which ones you use. I usually use the ones from generations cause their my favorite. Create a wall of 2 and place the slide using move objects on to get it to place right, again it doesn’t matter which one you use. I just really love the playground equipment that came with Gen. Now above the swing set layout the flooring and decide on how you’d like the play house to look. Next add in your walls and add in a ladder (you’ll need IP or the patch.) remember you’ll need flooring on the square you’ll be placing the ladder. Then add in your doors, windows, and wallpaper. You can also began to decorate and furnish the inside. It can be done however, you’d like since it is your building. Lastly add on the roof, again this can be done however you like but this is the combination I like best. Now all that’s left is to let your child sims lose. They can play on the playground as well as climb the ladder to play inside the house. Hope this was helpful and if you need any help I don’t mind answering questions.25KViews1like33CommentsMaking a mall. Dos and Donts
Hi folks. I wanted to make a big mall for my sims. But I can't think of what I can place inside to make it both look and feel like a mall without just being total chaos. I will make some stores just "fake" stores, either look like forever closed, or just like, you to to browse but nothing more. I think I will have one or two of those food court things from Seasons inside. And maybe one of those consignment cashiers. My main Q's are 1. If I put down a rabbithole-rug for the movie theatre, will this jumble up some of the other things on the lot (being a rabbit hole), or will it work like normal / have no effect on like, a cashier etc. 2. If I put down a performance stage, where they can have performers etc, will this affect anything else? Like, make the lot a venue so some things will not work?238Views0likes4Comments
