I also forgot to mention. If you do cheats like the testingcheatsenabled ones and movingobjects, make sure you TURN THEM OFF before saving and quitting. I have a feeling it was these cheats that corrupted my save because I forgot to turn them off.
Remember this version of these cheats in the Sims 3 are not as powerful as the Sims 2 ones were, but they are still powerful enough to hurt your game, remember to turn them off before saving and quitting!
