@cwaddell Sebastian and Gabriel are super handsome, especially those eyes... Nico looks great too. And your main female is gorgeous, I prefer the hairstyle in the first pic. The second female Sim looks great, I love her old school hairstyle.

@MemoriiValentine Your Sim looks great! She reminds me of Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White. I really like her clothes too, especially the aqua top and jeans.

@Mikezumi I love him. His skin has so many little details... And what a definied jawline.

@KaytayRoall Both of them look good, but they'll probably look better with a default replacement skin. I find the default vanilla skin too bland and lacking details (men don't have nipplz). Why don't you try the skin Pary uses, Mango Smoothie. Download a default replacement version, put it in the Overrides folder, delete cache files and done. All your Sims will have that skin.

@Pary Great. I'm going to download that skin ASAP. I love it. Yeah, Medieval Sims look amazing. The perfect balance between realism and stylization. TS4 is too stylized in my opinion. Maybe if hairs didn't look like plastic and skin have more details...

@GemSix I call them fantasy because those skin colors couldn't exist in real life.

@CravenLestat Zero custom sliders? Wow, how did you manage to take the "pudding" out of her face without custom sliders? She looks amazing.

The trick is knowing what the base sliders do to your sim's facial features...and utilizing them to its fullest extent. ;)

Yeah...went a bit nuts in TSR Workshop making the USN (and USMC) uniforms. ;) If I could figure out Blender, I'd put the proper shield, crossed anchors and eagle officer's cap badge for the USN officer's caps.

I shouldn't keep looking through my pics because I keep finding more :D

@Naus Thank you :) Maybe some day I'll try replacement skins. I have my reasons for not using CC. I won't bore you with them, though. If I ever do decide to try using CC, replacement skins are at the top of my list.

I’ve never agreed with the statement the sims in this game need CC to look good, I loved them vanilla as well and actually these sims I prefer vanilla (probably because that’s how I played them, that’s how I grew attached to them):

I think pulling sliders is more important than covering them with CC per se. Glad with the custom skin I use now though as well, the details are just better:

Most of my sims are born in game, and I don´t use much CC - I like the Sims 3 sims very much like they are.

Lol, well I will have to go check out Bianca Crumplebottom. That is my same pink haired sim that you wanted to buy an ice cream! Just with a custom skin and normal colored hair. :smile: : And you KNOW you're the one who taught me how to make nice looking sims back in the day, so maybe they should hire you. :wink:
