I agree with the others, start with the base game, check your computer can handle the specs especially if you plan to add packs and store content. Personally I found it necessary to adjust my graphics settings. You can get advice on that in the Help section. I think you will not be disappointed with the level of gameplay in the base game so enjoy :)
