Okay Fidler I think I got those pictures fixed, photobucket was giving me problems again.
SO here is my current WIP - it has no name yet and this is just the first floor
thanks for looking fidler.
If you don't mind, I'm going to call you Cailey. I would call you silly but that sounds kind of 'Silly' to me. LOL!!!
There's allot of photos here, so I won't cover everything. For future references, I would prefer that you share as you go along, and that way you won't have to post so many photos at one time and, you'll get a better critique out of me and everyone else.
Also, photos looking straight down into a house gives a good floor plan but it doesn't help with the critiquing.
Now the entertainment center was an innovative idea though I think it maybe a little to crowded. Maybe next time spread it out a little more for so many items.
I think a more polished wood for your floor in the living room would also go better with the decor of the room. Another point for this room is your sitting area; I think two big easy chairs on each side of the couch instead of that one love seat would have been better. The love seat's patten is quite interesting though. More wall decor is also in order, and the room cold use some plants. The dining table as a back table for the couch is a good idea and one I've used a few times. Though I like the idea of the area rugs, I think the center color on the rugs should have been something different as it blends too much into the floor and wall color.
The dining table set up is interesting though I think maybe the china cabinet idea is a little overboard. I'm glad you have a desire to be a little less conventional though; it shows your creativity.
Kitchen is well set up though I'm not crazy about your patten on the cabinets. I'd also like to see some nice curtains on the windows to give the room a more homey feel.
Your floor designs shows allot of potential. Keep practicing with those designs and you'll come up with some great designs.
Overall, I think you are sort of a diamond in the rough. More practice and a little more studying is in order but I think you'll do just fine when it comes to interior design. I see a little of myself in you so I know where you're coming from.
Keep up the good work.
