I think a good habit for any builder is; don't build on a lot that you don't know what to do with.

Of course if it's someone like me; we can always find things to do with all the extra space, like gardens and gazebos and playgrounds, etc. I'd suggest next time work with a smaller lot. 40X30 or 40X40 are good size lots but you don't have as much space to cover as a 60X60.

I would suggest you extend the pool on out to an out door pool. Also, see if you can CAS the pool to coordinate better with the house.
