I had nothing but problems with Claire Ursine no matter how many times I tried playing her. The baby was either never born (in an endless loop at the hospital) or disappeared shortly after being born. Playing her messed up any game I had so I finally stopped playing her and killed her off every time I played in Sunset Valley.
I think there are some Sims in every world and houses that are somehow glitched and never work right.
@nickibitsward , That's bizarre! I've never had any issues with Claire and play her frequently. Though I never let my sims have their kids at the hospital, they have a better relationship with them (actually in the green and sometimes over halfway filled green in the relationship bar) when delivered at home. if they insist on the hospital I just cancel it out.
Stinks she gives you so much trouble, she's in interesting gal.
Ever since trying to play her my sims have their babies at home!- SimplyJenRising SpectatorThis just happened to me last night and I can't remember the last time I've had the household thumbnail disappear. The save loads fine (no tents in WA chest). I'm not sure what's causing this but it could be because of such a large household (12). I've been told on tumblr by a few people that they also have had this happen but the save continue to work just fine. So far, that's been my experience too.

That is weird! Is it working ok?
I decided to have a huge sort through of my all my games and see what I don't play anymore. One of them was that file, because I didn't want the hassle of sorting it out. - SimplyJenRising Spectator

He was called in on an extra shift, but now he won't stop working. If I send him home, even after his normal shift, it still says that he is working and his performance goes down. I was devastated. He had almost mastered his career and he had almost completed his lifetime wise. :(
- @kaitlyn0 -That sounds like a social worker might've taken an inactive family's baby, toddler or child away and the sim wasn't fully deleted as I had that corrupt a few older saves and it corrupted once from the social worker taking my family's baby.I had problems where my sims couldn't get to work or stay at work when they got there and that glitch happened when my family's baby was taken with the mum.

That has been proven may times over to be false. When a Social Worker takes a baby from the household the game ages the baby up to child and places it the Service Pool.
At least, I am not the only one with problems like this! "ScottDemon;c-16336944" wrote:

I’ve heard this too as some simmers have adopted kids that have their kids names that were taken away...and they look like the parents.- xxnearlyperfectxNew Spectator

I always remember when the babysitter took one of the toddlers.
