@IreneSwift : you have very beautiful horses! And a lot of work with them! And I love the stallions´ name! Does it have a special meaning?
No, in a previous game with Annie that I lost, she bought Orion at the equestrian center. I kept the name he already had because I liked it, and when I restarted her in this game, I remade him exactly as he had been before. Belle is a remake of the other horse she had back then, which I think I might have made myself. But it's been so long, I don't remember.
Yes, the horses are a lot of work. Every day she brushes them, cleans their hooves if the interaction is available, and gives them each either an apple or a carrot. Then she cleans any of the stalls that need it and scatters some hay from the large stack of hay bales in the barn. Once in a while she'll give them a little extra affection, but she doesn't have time to do too much with them every day, especially when it takes them so long to maneuver into position for every single interaction. Saturday is their family day, so sometimes the rest of the family helps with the horses, so they can get going sooner to wherever they're going to spend the day. Shortly before noon on Sundays, she saddles up Orion and heads off to the equestrian center to enter a couple of competitions. It's the only day of the week she can go and still be back home at their 7:30 supper time.
