The Treadwell Family
Don Treadwell was once the Monty family butler, and helped run the Cliffside Retreat, until the feud heated up and claimed the lives of several Montys. Now he stays behind in the now-closed B&B as its caretaker. Will it ever run again?
This is a bonus lot recreated from the PS2 version of Sims 2; in this game, the third level was helping Patrizio and Isabella Monty with a Bed and Breakfast called Cliffside Retreat, with the assistance of a butler named Don Treadwell.

Don Treadwell attended the prestigious Cate School of Waitering where he majored in Snootery, with a concentration in Disdain. Secretly, he loves the tough but supple feel of denim.
Don Treadwell was a little too easy to make in Sims 3. I even set his alma mater to the 'Cate School of Waitering'. He will function well as a proper butler if set to one via Master Controller, but you will need to override his butler outfit with his Everyday white suit. I picture him as living in the B&B as the caretaker of it while his former employers sort out this nasty business with the Capps. Maybe Mercutio or Romeo will inherit the place and help restore the B&B to its original glory, with Don at their side?

Don has impeccable taste in classic cars.

This was a huge challenge to recreate. Cliffside Retreat is indeed, over a cliff, the back deck is suspended over thin air, supported by columns. I could not find a lot with a setup to recreate this effect, so ive settled with something simpler. The original PS2 game had no roofing in any part of the game, so I made the roof on this house purely to look pleasing, hopefully its not too bad. I not too good at doing roofs when not following an existing blueprint.

Sims 2 PS2 has very bare lots due to the limited memory, you generally have everything very spread out with a lot of open walking space.

The right side of the lot has two bedrooms, one of which seems to be a special 'love room'.

The left side has two more bedrooms, and the kitchen. One of the first goals of the level is to buy a table and chairs for the kitchen, but I intended on only recreating the level EXACTLY as it started off as, as the decisions on where items will go is ultimately up to the player and varies each game.
