Sims 3 Black Screen when launching
Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with launching the sims 3. When I launch it, it only opens correctly 1/3 of the time. The other times it just has a black screen and I can't change tabs or force quit ...

Do you get better or different results if you start up in windowed mode? But sad to say, depending on how many EPs you have in play and what else your computer may or may not be busy with at the time, TS3 for Mac is a mess. It can only address 2 GB of RAM unlike its Windows sibling that can call for almost twice that and if you have an overload of content and/or many of the EPs in play, the game could be calling for more RAM than it can really use (or it might not be available at the time) hence the startup failures.
