simgirl542 I'm not sure exactly what you tried here. If you mean that you played a song that's already in the game (and not a custom song), then looked for it in the Custom Music folder, that's not how it works. The songs you play stay in the game's program files. You'd have to break apart one of those files to get at the soundtracks, as described here:

Songs from expansions should be in the FullBuildepX file here:
[install location] > The Sims 3 > [expansion's folder] > GameData > Shared > Packages
If that's too daunting, you could play any given song while in-game and record it instead, then drop that file into Sims 4. If you don't want other game sounds getting in the way, play the song through the Options menu, which lists all of them by genre and I believe will play them in their entirety.
