On a weekend, my teen's fun was yellow. I sent him to the community centre (pool, video arcade, bowling, darts etc.) I designed and let him choose how to satisfy it. He did homework. He grabbed something at the snack-bar. He relaxed by the pool. By suppertime his fun had doubled or more. That's not much considering how low it was to start with. I sent him to play Foosball til it maxed out.
