I own everything in the Sims 3 store and even purchased many expansions and stuff packs a second time to switch to disk-only install to 1.67. According to my records, I have spent a total of $1019.04 for everything. I did use the daily deals and got a lot of stuff for cheap and free. According to my spreadsheet, I saved 67% doing this.

Today, I bough the Ballet barre (full price) and the Gentleman's Lounge (Daily Deal). I have a long wishlist, but I am not paying full price for these things. I do not trust that this game will even be working in a year. If I could save store content and install it to an offline computer, that would be different. All our games are ticking time bombs just waiting for a Windows update to break them and EA deciding not to fix it. These prices are too high for such an old game.

The Ballet Barre cannot be applied to a discount towards the larger package. The package is full price despite owning part of the pack already.

I want the tea set, but I cannot buy it unless I purchase the entire Brunch set.

Maybe they don't want us stocking up on things for a ticking timebomb, that is also competition for the Sims 4.

Both the Brunch set and the Ballet Barre lot set go on sale during the daily deals. I've bought everything on the store on sale at one time or another.

I am still confused by the DD lists. I was using ctrl F to try and search it, but because it is so many pages, things are listed that did not come up in my search. I see now that more things do go on sale than I realized.

I am very frustrated by all the premium items that are not for sale individually. I'll just wait and see what is for sale each day, and take it day by day.

For me, I’d say the Sky High Roller Coaster is my favourite store object, I used to play Theme Park World (also published by EA and made by Bullfrog maaaany years ago) a lot and the roller coaster when I saw The Sims 3 Store had it was really cool! I do kinda wish you could use an additional Loading Zone on it though so like you could do multiple stops, like a train station or a minecart, but oh well it’s not intended to be used like that lol. I also really like the Renault stuff too, I missed out on the branded stuff like the Toyota or Ford cars though and the Katy Perry poster, among other things since I didn’t get the game until 2018 on Steam.

Ooooh if you like supernaturals then the cauldron & fortune tellers crystal ball. The garden set with new plants is also great. if you play with families and like toddlers, the walker and the play pen, two really great objects. And lastly if you want your sims to have new fun hobbies or activities There’s two i recommend: The prism art studio comes with a glass blowing machine with new craftable items and a skill. The studio itself is really nice but i think you may (?) be able to buy the object by itself, not sure. Or the casino objects. There’s the slot machine, and a roulette/blackjack table set! Ok I am done now :D

Omg YES, I forgot about the casino and the objects! I still want to make a casino lot!

There are no tabs on the spreadsheet when I open it in the browser. I need to download the spreadsheet and open it with MS office to have access to the tabs. NOW I understand. Without the tabs, I did not have access to a LOT of information that people assumed that I had access to.
