@bobv2 I think since this keeps happening to you so frequently, the best option to try would be to use DeBugEnabler as igazor said and you seem comfortable with. If you're still having problems or some new problem crops up (and since this is the Sims 3, I'm sure something will eventually), then what everyone is saying is *don't* uninstall and reinstall your games. The method of renaming your Sims 3 documents folder and allowing the game to create a new one, really IS relatively simple and will save you having to find and reinstall things all over again. You just have to move some of the files from the old folder to the new one that is generated. You can always come here and ask for some more help with that if/when the time comes and not worry about it right now.
