How do you usually play now? I think you play families from your post. There are just so many things you can do with this game, but it's hard to know where to start. Like, if you usually put your sims in rabbit hole professions, try out self employment, business ownership, or the ambitions careers which are more hands on. If you usually play in the city, try a farming household in the country, or if the opposite, play someone in a showtime career in the city. If you don't usually play supernaturals or only one or two kinds, try one you haven't yet played.
I'm kind of into building towns up from empty, as in starting with a map that has no houses or community lots placed (which is hardly new for me), but in the past couple weeks, I grabbed a sim and went to Oasis Landing instead because I hadn't explored that content yet at all. It was a lot of fun, but this week I'm back to my town building project.
