Awesome information! I will remember the fridge trick for when I'm done with my generation challenge and want to start a new game. Only 8 generations to go! *laughs*
The frig removal trick is very useful if you have added a house in the university world for you various sims to rent while at college. The first semester your sims can stay there, for a small fee, but second semester and after that all previously empty houses, including your former rental house, are now occupied. At the end of each semester I just remove the frig and the house will be there for any of your sims the next time.
