The Adam And Eve Challenge

I really don't understand how you are using your household funds to build houses. When you edit town, that doesn't come out of household funds.

And how do you have Architect and Stylist careers without the town hall community lot? Even if you have those careers, that still doesn't come out of the household funds.

Please explain, so confused!
