Vuneca - I may a little late for ya on here but I always move my families this way and everything has gone just fine. I also have managed to keep the family inventory so I moved my previous generations along with me (though not the really extended family). Like you when I started this challenge with Nova Park I didn't know how to maintain the stability of my game (and of course I'm cc crazy on top of that) so I had to move my family to a new save at the end of generation 5.
JMJphotostudio - I think that's a brilliant rule adjustment. Especially for people like me who tend to get a bit build crazy and place too many **** lots at once. >.< It's expensive doing that too so awesome, I'll keep it in mind. :D
So I decided to give up the challenge on Nova Park. I was trying to bring it back but with where my story for that save is it's a little too complicated to balance the story with challenge gameplay. Anyway I was really missing the challenge though, this has been by far my favorite that I've done and so I decided to start a new save with a new family.
I'm hoping with my past experience I'll be able to keep my save file healthy longer and stretch out the fun. :) I'm not sure how I want to share it yet, I'll probably put up a wordpress for it. I kind of have some unconventional ideas for this save and am trying out a couple new things so hopefully that won't be off-putting. :D Anyway as a preview, I give you my Adam and Eve -
