Thanks, the drop in start up costs was not a bad thing, just a challenging thing  Quite a difference for someone who plays like me and had more than enough money for quite awhile, although a sim with 5-6 kids took a big chunk from my hoarding of funds. Again, I didn't mind the no beginning grocery, I was able to find seeds I could plant and did quite nicely without the store...again, just made it more challenging.
I don't mind the 1 community lot per sim, just made me rethink how I was playing, again just more challenging...and only had the issue when I was going to place a cemetery with my founders but were having them skill for the grocery and criminal warehouse already.
Thanks for clarifying the population control issue I was having. I was just confused as the NPC's do not have a house to visit for meeting them, it is more by chance in the beginning when they are not co-workers...but maybe that is the point of the challenge :) Of course my male founder cannot cook so everyone is quite well acquainted with the fireman by this point. I think she will be a great cougar sim and hopefully marry my 2nd generation heir unless she ages to elder to quickly before he finished boarding school LOL
Anyway...THANKS! I am enjoying this and finding the new challenge rules well, challenging, but playable and fun!
