Kangaroobabe I like your back story and how you started off with a few more challenges. I wish I would of thought of something like that :( But I think the fact my funds are already low will still keep it "challenging" . I find the overheated moodlet obnoxious and then the catching on fire drives me bonkers so getting the LT reward is imperative.
I didn't think of it as adding more challenges. I'm just following JMJ's rule post as best I can. (the reviewed post, I never saw the original) Most of the buildings I wanted to add in the first few generations come with the tag "(no money requirements)". I took this to mean your family doesn't own them, you just had to earn them by mastering skills. I'm not sure how their built, but I'm going to use "Edit Town" to place them. (In my story-line the Billionaire's Heir is responsible for providing them)Because of this I decided to add two buildings per generation.
*Founders: Grocery Store/Diner, graveyard
*2nd: City Hall/Police/Military Combo, Small Park(Making a flower garden/Wedding spot)
*3rd: Firehouse, School/Stadium
*4th: Hospital/Lab, Festival grounds
After paying for the founders contribution, I don't have to buy anything until the 4th generation when I put down the Hospital/Lab. With at least four people per generation making an income plus the profits from the grocery store/diner and graveyard (that surprised me! $4,000+ per week)being added to the nest egg left by the founders should give me a solid financial base.
The only thing I added that is not in JMJ's rules is placing a family+house for each business/service I earn.
Edit: I also added a Fishing spot (not in the rules) to have somewhere to go of lot preventing "Stir Crazy" Modlet. It provides a food source and helps Adam reach his LTW of having a perfect garden, using the fish as fertiizer
