It stands for Imaginary friend. :D They are quite often sent by random relatives as a toy when a new born is added to your family. If they play with it often enough as a toddler, it will turn into an IF when they reach childhood. Maintain the relationship through teenage years. The child/teen is able to interact with it as normal, no-one else can see it (hence the imaginary tag :wink: )

You can make a potion on the chemistry station (under study tab, hobbies & skills) to make it human. Giving the toy a male/female name results in the right gender when they turn.
