The cord on my laptop has been hinky for a while now. Last night it finally broke. I can't get a new one until at least the middle of next week. Mum had a health scare ending up in hospital. She's out now and getting better, but not up to full strength yet so I'm looking after her. She lives out in the middle of nowhere and I can't drive.
Dad works til late in the evening and my sister, who does the running round for the family at times like this works all day then has to go home to tend to her kid. So I have to wait til mum is feeling strong enough to drive us into town. :(
