Thanks Maj, its good to be back. missed you guys too. Don't know bout the touch screen and the game yet. Just got through uploading all the packs (took hours) and was having a little playtime before I started downloading all the store stuff and mods when my power went out. :x It just came back on now. Lights woke me up, its round 5 in the morning here. Got some maintenance men coming in two hours so may as well stay up.
I'll get to those downloads now and have a play before they get here. :mrgreen:
:?: Does anyone know where to find the tent?
I want it for the huge combo challenge I have planned. I wanted to get some challenges in before Sims 4 came out and I get side tracked. I love this one, and I also found some more I wanted to try while watching a few "Let's Plays" to get my fix. (If you can't do it yourself watch someone else :mrgreen: ) Like the A&E most of them take a long time to complete. They also work well together making the game interesting because there is always mini goals to focus on while earning money and skills to add to the town. (in my mix the family starts with $0 :D ) It comes in two phases and includes: A&E Challenge The Runaway Challenge and Llandros09's Hybrid Baby challenge which is a combination of the 100 baby challenge, Well rounded Family challenge and Alphabet Challenge.

There is only one Main sim throughout the whole challenge.
Phase 1: The Runaway
A teen and her little brother/sister lose their parents, no-one wants them so they end up in an orphanage. The teen then loses her sibling in a tragic accident. She is inconsolable. The Grim Reaper decides to make her a deal. If she gives him 100 potential souls he will return her sibling. The teen agrees and says she will start once she reaches adulthood. Meanwhile authorities have notices her talking to her dead sibling and send her to the Asylum. She runs away.
Months later she stops for the night at a tourist rest-stop. In the morning she takes a look around. The rest stop has a rather nice bathroom block with a little fenced off garden next to it. Nearby is a large vaccant lot, further down the road there is a trading post (combo diner/grocery and consignment store). This would be the perfect place to stop and rest for a while.
Phase 2: Raising a Family and Building a town
A week turned into months then years. The old couple that ran the Trading Post figured out that the teen was a runaway. And except for leaving the occasional helpful item around, turned a blind eye to her. She made a living by selling drawings to tourists and fish,produce and refurbished items from the dumpster to the couple. Planing for the future she carefully saved every penny to build herself a home and worked on educating herself so she could teach her children to give them the best chance at passing the reapers test.
When she came of age, she built her home and hunted for her first partner. The night before her first child was born a Jelly bean bush appeared. She remembered what the Reaper told her.
"On the night of each child's birth and every night after until the child comes of age, excepting for Fathers Day and holidays the father must consume three jelly beans. Then the child must take the jelly bean test. Only after the 100th child has successfully left home will I return your sister/brother."
"I can't raise all those children just to watch them die!"
The Reaper thought a moment then replied "As your parents believed a good eduction was important make sure to give your child the best possible. The child will then take the University apttitude test. One Jelly bean for a Full Scholarship, Two for a part and Three for none at all......."
The woman lived several lifetimes. As her family grew so did a town, for the woman could not bare to part with the children that survived. Because the Reaper insisted each child must leave home, she built houses close by to put them in. She bought the trading post and added stores and community lots and even their own police/fire station, hospital and school.
The day the last child moved into their own home the Reaper came, after turning the sister/brother human again he bowed and disappeared. The woman took one more age reducing potion and lived a last lifetime with the sister she loved.

What do you think? Its rather large, long and intricate. Also the biggest thing I've attempted yet. Hope I get to finish and the game don't go haywire.
