Thanks for reading!! I know the first two parts of the prologue are kinda depressing - especially part 2 - but I was trying to create a scenario where it would make sense for the two of them to move away from everything to start fresh, and it seemed to work alright so I went with it. I'm glad you like it so far! I hope to update soon, playing out ahead a bit to get an idea where everything is going!
