i have tried but the saves did not show up again. and what is worse: when i played from my last available save and then saved, this save is also not working. i was in week 15 and the most recent backup available now is in week 5. sigh
i might take a break from the game and have a think wheather or not i want to do that. or start completely from scratch. because i think i may feel bored starting over with this one.
i have also noticed this: some very old saves have disappeared from showing up as well. i had emptied a town completely to be ready for this challenge. and that save has also gone. i haven't even played that one! (obviously) - maybe i have to completely delete my sims 3 folder to be bug-free. boo

I have tried everything and it seems that every file backwards has been corrupted along with my current one. I will not have another choice but start over. Well, I guess I am not the first one to whom that happens.
