Hello everyone,
As you know I have been working on the site for about 2 years now. In that time we all know how it has done down. I have produce awesome places that didn’t much stand up to the greater vision that I had for us. This over thinking it has led to boundless amount of time and heart break. To the point where I was a step away from giving up on it.
Then a little birdy told me to start small and keep it simple. So that is what I did. Hence the reason I’m here today. I want to invite you all to our new home.
Let me tell you about it as you’ll are going to be the first to try it out. As I’m not going to open the site to the public until I have a strong foundation and that foundation starts with you guys.
Once you go to the site you’re going to see a countdown timer. From there I’m going to need you to type your email addy in the box. What is going to happen is you’re going to receive a beta key to your provided email.
The beta keys are going to be limited to the first 50 users. After those are done people won’t be able to sign up until I go into an Open beta. But within that time changes are going to be made to the site.
Features-
Groups- I’m going to have a couple of strict policies about the group feature that will be implemented later. But I want the groups to be for groups and not Individual stories. I.e.….The Adam and eve challenge or the going solo challenge would be placed in the groups section.
Blogs-This is the meat of the site. As this is where you’re going to post your stories your updates for the legacies that you have started. I.e.…Your updates and stories for the challenges that you are a part of.
Albums-Very self-explanatory.
There are many other features but those are the ones that I’m going to start with now.
I’m also going to need an extra Admin the extra admins job will be simple. All that is going to be needed is to make sure the groups and forums (when it is updated) stay neat.
I’m also looking into working with other more established Sims community sites to help with getting the branding done. As it is going to take money in order to get the site on a stable server…Hence the reason I’m only going to do a closed beta of 50 users. Once I get the funding to move the site to a better server I will move to the next step which would be an open beta.
In open beta you the user will be allowed to send invites to your friends. I want to try to keep the site geared toward Sims Creators…IE story tellers builders CC makers etc. etc.
With that said Please Enjoy and try to stay as active as possible. AND ENJOY THE GAME.
