thanks everyone for trying to help :) i have used the festival grounds in my pre-made cities. my question arose from the fact that a festival ground is a normal big park in my opinion for most of the year except, well, for when festivals happen. therefore i wasn't sure if i could just place them in my city, never placed one before. i realize that i could just have tried that myself rather than asking here. but more importantly i was interested in the other part of the question, the one about what my sim is required to do before they can place festival grounds. so if i understand @JMJ correctly, because they are considered big parks, the sim will have to meet the requirements for big park. and because they are also festival grounds, the same sim would also have to meet the requirements for festival grounds as well. therefore my sim would have to max logic, gardening, cooking, and athletic. correct? thanks everyone :) maybe we can have a faq for the challenge on the new site? just a thought. thanks again! (i have actually postponed the festival grounds idea for the next generation. there were so many robberies that i decided to get a police station first! haha, the hippie in my is sad now ;) )
