The Gray Snow of Aurora Skies is Realistic
When Aurora Skies was released, many threads popped up in which people complained about the grayish snow. As well, a few talented simmers came up with fixes so the snow would appear white and thick in that world.
A few months ago, I was walking outside. It was early winter and the snow covering was not very deep. It was a particularly windy day and the white snow mixed with dust and dirt. I was surprised to see our snow was gray. I immediately thought of the gray snow of Aurora Skies. I had taken a photo during my walk. I had intended on sharing it in this forum which I am finally doing today.

Now when I play Aurora Skies I will imagine that the town had just experienced a windy winter storm sweeping the white snow away leaving grayish spots exposed. LOL
