in this instance, may be testingcheatsenabled true them to randomize thier trait they should have gotten?I have also had instance where adult sims previous sims were romantically involved with didn't have a complete set of traits. One of my sims married kate pistachio at one point and she had only 4 traits.

If you grow your sim up and the game doesn't let you pick their new trait, then that is fine. You go with whatever the game assigns. Its just as good as rolling.
