aah so my legacy's going as well as can be expected. my founder had a ltw of raising five children to teens... beeg mistake! she had a couple sets of twins and now has six babies screaming all day! lol
they have 1.5 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and almost no money to pay the bills, but having a maid and a babysitter 24/7 is a MUST, as you can probably imagine. and of course the silly goose founder wants... wait for it... yes, ANOTHER baby.
i've been so busy playing that the blogging has been left behind a bit, lol... but i felt the need to share my troubles with the rest of you anyway. ;D
Ahahaha, my Sim's in the same boat - except she's not the one with the LTW for the kids, it's her mate. So she's just finally raised and moved out the step-son that moved in as a kid with her husband, and now still has two teens, twin kid girls, and a toddler to deal with.
Because she has a husband living with her, she doesn't need a babysitter as much, especially since she's unemployed. She did finally break down and hire a maid though, once the hubby got high enough in his job to be bringing in enough money to cover that, bills, plus house expansion/furnishing occasionally. And she's barely even done *anything* toward her own LTW because of caring for all the kids (she wants to be a Professional Author, which is 4000 Simoleons a week as royalties. She's written two cheap books so far. XD)
Now the only thing I'm worried about is the husband's LTW... because two of the kids aren't really his, they were from an affair with Gunther Goth. So I'm really really hoping that there's no hidden extra requirement that the kids have to be biologically his, or anything. -_- Because if I go through all this trouble and don't get his LTW, I may have to kill something.
On the bright side, look at it this way - while it's a pain to do that particular LTW early on, it could get even tougher later, if you have multiple generations living with you (since the max number of people living on a lot is eight).
