The other thing about the rules is:
They're all optional, really. This is just for fun, so if you want to have homosexual parents that adopt their heir, knock yourself out. That's -your- legacy, so that's how you do it. There's no prizes, there's no judges but us, and how many of us are going to deem your legacy invalid because you chose to adopt a baby for your homosexual founder? Maybe a few, but we won't listen to them.
Do what you want. It's your game. These legacy rules are a jumping off point. I added a couple optional rules to my game to make it harder and ditched one rule of Pinstar's because I didn't like it. Still makes for a fun game.
