I feel really horrible for a lot of these Legacy families... but mine hasn't been too horrible! At first my poor sim only had two little walls and like a toilet and i don't remember what else, but it was sad. Then she got married to the first guy that came along. He brought a few thousand, so I was able to build a little one room place with a little bathroom. She had a job in Journalism and he had one in the Military. They lived on only the things they absolutely needed and relied on the library to get a lot done. Then she got pregnant! And gave birth to twin girls!! I was quite shocked. My founder just became an elder today, and I'm a little sad. I've grown very attached. But, since they only used what they needed all this time and lived very frugally, they have about 90,000 in the bank. They seized every opportunity they could to save money.
I feel very... lame for having planned their lives out so great... The twins are about to become young adults, and then it will be time to create the next generation!
I know what you mean but things are definitely looking up for Clark Kent. He now lives in a 2 br 2 ba home instead of that shack down by the river. He started off for 2 days with nothing and survived off apples he found in the forest. After he got a garden planted he got his first bed and slept right next to the garden. Luckily since we were not given weather he was able to avoid freezing to death. After about a week of that he lived in what could best be described as a tool shed next to the garden. He was getting long in the tooth but he managed to add a room to his tool shed and take a wife. Now he has 2 children who are teenagers (he only had time for 2), he has a bank account of 70k which is surprising since he never worked a real job. His wife never got past level 5 culinary because of getting pregnant back to back. They are both elders now, Clark has been an elder since the birth of his second child so I imagine he is getting close to the end.
