So here's the little thing I'm curious about. Sense there are so many ways to make money without actually having a full time job, how far can you all get on the challenge without having anyone in your household take a job?
Plenty of places to make money, such as car theft or writing and selling books, but each of them has a bit of a disadvantage. Such as stealing quickly results in you running out of high end items to steal until people get them replaced. Writing books, takes a bit of time before you actually get a book finished. Investing in businesses requires you to have capital to begin with, and so on and so forth.
This just might be the the little self imposed rule I apply to myself this weekend when I start my own Legacy Challenge.
I call it the immigrant option. The founder cannot have a full time job. However while you think this will be harder my founder just completed his LTW of being worth more than 100k and 37k of that came from farming, 38k of it came from fishing, and 10k came from gem collecting. So only 15k or so came from job source and opportunties. He had a part-time job for about 10 days, his wife got to level 5 culinary before retiring and his 2 teenagers have part-time jobs at the bookstore.
