Sims 3 Legacy - Giant PHAIL!!!!
I cannot believe I spent all week working on my Legacy and have my 3rd generation heir engaged to his girlfriend and what happens - first the Founder died at work and is now stuck in ghostly form just floating in front of the science Center. He is one of the Robot Plant Breeder guys and apparently got waylayed by grimmy on his way out of work). I've tried everything under the sun to get the ghost home and his tombstone on the lot - but no go. Back at home I can't get my heir to marry his girlfriend because he keeps stopping the action to bawl about his grandpa who is now stuck there for 3 Sims days. So that Legacy is "DEAD" in it's tracks.
So I decide to do another in Sunset Valley (as that one is in the Riverview town) and this one I make a Matriarch founder. Now here I sit again with my third generation this time female of course - and she is actually newly married. Both grandma and grandpa are still kicking, as are her parents, and her spare ended up being boy/girl twins - so I couldn't get the try for baby. So I figure I have no choice but move out a sibbling. To have a spar in case of twins I decide to move out her twin sibblings as they both are newly turned YA's. Not wanting to kick them out to fend the world on nothing, I take and move them into a little house in town - a starter I built a while back. So I left the family home for 20 minutes, to move them in and change their jobs, and to furnish what I could. I click back to the family home and guess what - my third generation couple are gone, along with mom, and grandma. Left in the house is dad and grandpa. The rest of the family is nowhere to be found and my spar has been moved out with 1 kaching used in the little house to buy a toilet and shower. So she no longer qualifies, even if she is still there.
How in heaven's name do we have a legacy in conditions like this? This is two tries and both tries a big giant stinking PHAIL!!! EA needs to put a squash on this BS of the game deleting just OUR sims. Funny none of the EA sims have mysteriously vanished. They need a patch to instruct their murder program to murder just game created sims - not user created. I give UP!!!!
