I actually figured out by a few episodes in XD I had to work out how many letters the moles name had to be. Ended up with suspects with 11 letter names.
Yeah I'm still flabbergasted by that. You somehow solved it like literally 2 or 3 episodes in when all it was so far was "TH" or "THE" which could have still been a coincidence. And even then it could have said anything.
And originally the season was going to be 12 episodes so it was just going to be "the mole is gov" but then when I realized it would be 20, "the mole is the governor" fit that perfectly too :p

EPISODE 1: Taurus constellation; Governor's astrological sign is Taurus
(Twiddle's extra clue of "El Topo" in the Gov's intro)
EPISODE 3: Halfway through the episode, the Gov says the following: The Gov: "Instead of these ridiculous costumes and unbalanced powers, why don't they just give us all a gun and a bullet? Call me a paranoid fucker, but anyone who tries visiting me tonight will get a bullet straight through their noggin'!" This is a clue because it describes the Mafia game variant: "Duck Duck Goose!" "Duck, Duck, Goose! is an 12-player open setup featuring an entire town of 1-shot Paranoid Gun Owners" -Mafia Wiki Duck Duck Goose is also directly referenced by the Gov soon after, which is a meta joke to his creator, Twiddle; the duck we all know and love. ;)
(the name of the episode, Evil Has Landed, was meant to be a subtle clue to the Gov's last name, Byrd , but this could have been confused as a hint to Aiden too since he had the flight ability in this mission, so I don't count it as the main clue this episode)
EPISODE 5: All 4 categories somehow relate to the Gov-
Round 1: Animals Giraffe Dragon Turtle Butterfly (Initials are the same; Governor David Theodore Byrd)
Round 2: Modes of Transportation Jet Limo Yacht Pirate Ship (as a powerful politician, he uses the first two often; as a rich man who vacations frequently, he rides the third often; and as One-Eyed Dave the Political Pirate... the pirate ship is also a reference to him)
Round 3: Fruits & Veggies Apple (Washington state's fruit) Onion (Washington state's vegetable) Pineapple Coconut ^those last two are both common island fruits, and together, they make pina colada, a beverage known to be made at tropical islands (the Gov's current residence), and a particularly favorite drink of the Gov's.
Round 4: Clothing Robe Watch Neck Tie Crown (this is perhaps too subtle, but these all are things the Gov wears. He is known for his sleepwear robe (with the bunny slippers), and he's always wearing a watch and neck tie. Crown just is meant to symbolize his power as a leader)
EPISODE 7: Taz's poem, “BLACKBIRD AMONG RAVEN”…. Governor BYRD blends in with the ravens, even though he’s the black sheep. He is a black bird hiding amongst ravens.
EPISODE 9: Kaitlin says the following: "What are you two standing there twiddleing your thumbs for, GO TRANSLATE!" It's safe to say "Twiddleing" is not a word ;) It's spelled twiddling. Obvious clue to Twiddle.
(this is not so much as a clue, but showing the Gov sabotaging; Twiddle was actually the second person to buy a clue, and he wasted it by asking Lo/Tamela: 'What is your favorite color?'. EPISODE 11: The Gov's wall in the prison cell has an Illuminati eye... This motif of someone watching will come up again and again throughout the season, usually in the context of "Big Brother is watching", which means the Government. And since the Gov is obviously part of the Government, it means he is always watching.... and as the Mole, he gets top secret knowledge throughout the game, and is always watching his victims as they get executed one by one.
( Another random hint of the Gov making bold clues about himself: The Gov: “Anyway, let's expose that Morgan woman for the fraud that she is! ...Ha! I love hypocrisy... Guess that's how I got my job, eh?" ....you THINK he's referencing his job as a politician, but in ACTUALITY he is referencing the fact he got hired as the Mole)
EPISODE 13: The Gov: "I am the sneaky sneaky double agent!" ...self explanatory.
(Name of episode is "Hornswaggolling Pirate"... Meaning to get the better of someone by cheating or deception... Pirate meaning Gov, since he most resembles a pirate in this mission with his eye patch. He's a deceitful Pirate!)
(Artifact in the chest is a bull, which again references Twiddle's secret question of "Taurus")
EPISODE 15: The Gov: "Who doesn't love a good molet??" In case you didn't already know, that's not how mullet is spelled. :p ;)
(at the bottom of the episode for the Current Pot, the word "Mole" is highlighted orange when the rest of it is highlighted grey. Bit abnormal. So the Mole = Orange..... And the Governor was playing Mr. Sunset, who's color was, you guessed it: orange.
EPISODE 17: The "bad eyesight" clue as mentioned in the finale.
EPISODE 19: As mentioned in the finale (and later by Vul): the entrance to the Mole's Hideout was in Slytherin's room, and that's where the Gov was originally assigned. Plus, the inner core of the hideout was symbolic of the oval office in the white house in America, which represents the Governor (a politician now running for President).
(and as some people noticed, the instructions to the bomb diffusal were clearly written by the Gov lol like "completely ignore step 6.... I may have drunk one too many while writing these instructions up, harhahar!"

*Strong bird/duck motif throughout the entire show... both in episodes and on the thread. The duck part obviously references Twiddle, and the bird part references Dave Byrd. There were things such as bird wallpaper in some scenes, "Catch a bird" is emphasized in episode 9 (catch a mole), duck references left and right, too many for me to remember or write down haha. One of my favorites was I hid a duck in each obstacle of the final mission! (see spoiler below)
