@lovesstorms - ah yeah, the eternal length question. I always just try and read what I write and take out anything that introduces an idea I won't be doing anything with, is superfluous detail or just doesn't make the story sing (a good way to figure those bits out is at the proofing stage... The bit that you always skip over/have to really focus on is probably not needed!). I'm sure your sister will help though and if not, my mailbox is always open, I have an English degree gathering dust along with the rest of my potential (:p)
