DAY THREE
When the next day came, it was still raining. Corrine woke up as early as usual, and headed off to school. Brant woke up an hour later, fixed a broken sink, had breakfast and then headed off to town. He, for the first time in a long time, managed to get himself a job, and became a local Lifeguard. A gallant protector of the beaches.

he worked until the evening, which is when the beaches started clearing, and he was free to head on out. He walked to the local diner, used their phone and called Corrine, Inviting her to meet with him.

Corine arrived by bicycle around an hour later, and the two of them enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner.

They stayed for the main course, and even the dessert. When they were done, they left the building, hugged, and headed back home.
