The Sims 3 has very slow zooming out in-game and in CAS? (No lag otherwise, map view is fine too.)

You either got really fast shipping on the new system you were considering or (sorry, probably more likely) you are still playing on one with a weaker end processor, integrated graphics, tons of script mods (or have those been removed by now) and the odd amount 7 GB of RAM where much of it keeps getting used up by other processes?

@igazor It happens with no mods/cc, and unfortunately I'm still stuck with the old system! I got a program to clear out and turn off unnecessary processes, and my game is nearly lag free. I'm thinking it's just a weird thing, it isn't game breaking or anything, just a bit annoying.
