I tend to play without memories enabled these days because of concerns with save file lifetime but I looked back at my old "My Page" from a few years back and oh boy- drama! I forgot that so much stuf...

I turned off memories in the game as soon as I could. But like @Nikkei_Simmer I store my sim’s histories on a blog. I surprise myself that I’m doing that almost only for myself nowadays (I used to share their stories on a forum but stopped doing that a couple of years ago) and still having fun with that. For me it’s become part of the game apparently. I love giving them a background that way. But I don’t need the game to do it for me.
