Throw Party is greyed out and says "You can only be at one party at a time"

Question

I haven't been to a party in days in fact I think I've had 2 babies since the last party.  But, I know my sims think they're at a party because they keep changing to their formal clothes.  Any ideas?

I get the same bug and I've reset all my sims :(

This happened to me too. If you go into edit town, evict your family then move them back in. It worked for me :)

OK, so that worked but then it glitched again. Can't find any way to fix the issue:(I need help too!!! Most annoying glitch ever.
