Sorry for answering so late, but I had some problems with my computer, which made me lose my temper, so I missed the tags!
That´s the hardest part, right? Making the relationship official to the parents. Although Tibor and Emerson are best friends, Tibor was very nervous because in his mind Emerson could have say no and then he would have been completely devastated.
(He still has no confidence and still thinks that he can´t deserve such a wonderful woman! But if Emerson had said no Serena would have intervened. She isn´t the person who gives up and when she wants something she is raised in the mindset that she just has to work hard for getting it. Tibor has this mindset just when it comes to his family´s reputation but not for his own person!)
